Steely Dan were known for depicting colorful characters. But 20 years ago, The Dan's "Pixeleen" expanded upon the cast of characters, and incorporated video game characters of that era. On a showery work day, "Pixeleen" inspired one of my coworkers to walk barefoot in the alley, cut off her pant legs (which had gotten wet and dirty) at the knees, and use the handcuff props.

"Pixeleen" is just a great song. It should have been a hit, but wasn't. Be that as it may, it inspired another one of our coworkers, to go for the Angelina Jolie look, such as from Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.
