In 1983, I was at Presidio Middle School. Many of my schoolmates (or at least our families) bought Journey's mediocre album, Frontiers. We would not learn for a few more years, why it was so mediocre. For whatever reason, two killer tracks, "Ask The Lonely" and "Only The Young" were inexplicably cut from the album.

35 years ago, towards the end of 1988, Columbia/Sony released Journey's Greatest Hits, which was among the first places you could find "Ask The Lonely" and "Only The Young." Out of all "greatest hits" compilations, in terms of sales, Journey's is in the top ten.
