Ah, North Beach Playground. At the end of 1988, you could find us here. A couple of us had bought KISS' Smashes, Thrashes & Hits, which included a new song, "(You Make Me) Rock Hard." Since North Beach Playground was a concrete jungle, "rock hard" was fitting.

Even though we were all high school virgins, we still rolled our eyes at the bad sexual lyrics. Nevertheless, "(You Make Me) Rock Hard" got us pumped up, to play softball and basketball. And when it did rain, we simply practiced football plays.
