No, we don't have photos from 1978, when I was 6 years-old. At the end of the year, my parents went out, somewhere in San Francisco. My babysitter, Jeffrey, had a twin sister, Henrietta. The latter got all dressed up, for something called a "winter formal."

With me and Jeffrey in the backseat, the mom dropped Henrietta off at some Nob Hill hotel. And as we got back to around Van Ness, I'll never forget something called "FM" by Steely Dan come on the car radio. I don't know about your market, but here in the Bay Area, "FM" is a song you just do not hear. We would later learn that Fagen and Becker were joined by Toto's Jeff Porcaro on drums, and the Eagles on backing vocals.
