At the end of 1988, whether we played softball and football on asphalt or grass, we liked grinding it out, to Keith Richards' "Take It So Hard." Well, the ground often scratched and bruised us.

In the mid-80s, Mick Jagger balked at touring. So Keith Richards came out with a solo album, Talk Is Cheap. At the same time, Guns N' Roses were shooting past the Stones. If you listen carefully, Izzy Stradlin's riffs (and later, Juju Hounds) sound like Keith Richards.
