Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, "Any Weather"

Normally, it takes weeks or a couple of months, for a new post to generate any significant email feedback. But the Joan Jett post below almost immediately generated a few.

10 years ago, I absolutely loved working at a high school. We had staff of all ages, but the plurality consisted of Millennials. One of the teachers did her undergrad at UC Davis. Even though she wasn't in the natural sciences, she was still good with animals.

She liked Joan Jett & the Blackhearts' simple "Any Weather." We were in the midst of record dryness. But without rain, the weather was clear, to go out. Co-written with Dave Grohl, "Any Weather" was about being able to withstand hardships. As such, it fortified the Millennials' attitudes about getting married.
