10 years ago, I worked at a public high school. But because of my long commute, I couldn't really stick around for evening/night sports, or chaperone field trips. However, whenever there were field trips back to the Monterey area (I went to college in Santa Cruz), I made sure to go. And it was on one of these trips, where we discovered Stryper's new album, No More Hell To Pay.
When we actually went to the Oakland Zoo, we heard the title track. Yes, some of us were Christians, but that had no effect (for or against) on our judgements about the band. We thought its sound took us back to, for example, 1990-era Against The Law, but with a modern-day poise.
