In Spring 1987, my sophomore year of high school, we were on a college tour. When we hit UC Davis, a radio station played Tesla's "Modern Day Cowboy."
We first saw Tesla in April 1989, when they opened for Tesla. Unfortunately, while we still have this ticket stub, the ink has faded.
If you do a search over on Rocky Road, you'll find more, about Tesla the band. They played blues-based hard rock. It's too bad that they got lumped in with hair metal bands.
