When I look back at my sophomore year of high school (1986-87), that as the last time I had more guy friends, than girls. At certain parts of campus, the students who liked "modern rock" hung out. While that wasn't my #1 musical genre, I still liked some of it. And you were still curious about it. Those friends introduced me to the post-punk band, New Model Army, who had a new album, The Ghost Of Cain.

30 years ago, in late 1993, Sepultura actually did a kick-ass cover of "The Hunt," which was from The Ghost Of Cain. One of my friends, who was now at UC Davis, got carried away, with this song. She ended up skidding off her bike. I have never recommended that audiophiles do that, but that is the power of the music.
