Here in California, the end of 1993 was hot and dry. We happened to be in SoCal, when Brazil's Sepultura, who had just come out with the killer Chaos A.D, had a video for "Territory." My friend (but not before taking off her Na Hoku necklace) was inspired to, with or without clothes, get all muddy, and thrash around.

If you had decent equipment, and listened carefully, you could tell where Sepultura's thrash came from punk rock. But then again, "Territory" was the acid test, which 90% of audio products failed.
