You have to understand that, when it comes to the Fall 1988 semester, the majority of my friends consisted of nerd girls. So anything dealing with sex was abstract or academic.

We had a friend, whom we called "Dr. X." Why? Because her last name began with X. She used so many English first names, that we just called her by her last name.

Because of the future Dr. X, a song like Kiss' "Let's Put The X In Sex" got more attention that it normally would. It would appear on Smashes, Thrashes & Hits, which sold well during the holidays.
