During the Fall 1988 semester, my niece Heidi was born. And we Americans were introduced to Kylie Minogue, with her cover of "The Loco-Motion." Yesterday was my niece's wedding.

My daughter (above) actually asked the DJ to pay Minogue's "The Loco-Motion." However, the groom (his cousin is an audiophile friend of mine) is a Journey fan.

Heidi was a bridesmaid at my wedding. And when the cake-cutting took place, Journey's "When You Love A Woman" played in the background. So Heidi and Kevin will have to pick other Journey songs :-)

As for Minogue's "The Loco-Motion," that was actually one, which my friends (we were in high school then) bought on cassette single.
