In 1978-79, when we were just in elementary school, I vaguely recall adults and radio stations mentioning Sea Level, which came about, because the Allman Brothers Band was splintering. Problem was, we were 5, 6, or 7 years old, and did not know who the ABB were :-(

Whether here in the Bay Area, or my secondary home of Hawaii (above), we swear that there isn't as much beach, as there was in the 70s. Scientists claim that that's due to the 1-2 punch of (a) erosion, and (b) rising sea levels.
