Ozzy Osbourne, "Devil's Daughter"

I only spent the latter parts of summer 1988 in Honolulu. Previously, I had spent the entire summers there. Still, I happened to be in Honolulu, when my Mainland S.F. friends vacationed there.

Even in Honolulu, posters and billboards teased a new album from the Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne. Called No Rest For The Wicked, it did not come out until the 1988-89 school year had started. We loved "Devil's Daughter," and to this day, wonder shy it was never made into a single.

During that 1988-89 school year, my friends Annie, Cat, Damon, Deborah & Eva (sisters), KJ, Paul, Sandy, Susan, and Wayman lived in San Francisco's Chinatown. Because Cat had braces, and did not smile, she adopted "Devil's Daughter" as "her"song. Damon murmured, "Damn, that's awesome. Now I need something as awesome for my song."
