Ah, Lake Merced, which was located across the street from my high school. In October 1988, if we got out early, fog shrouded campus and the lake.

And we absolutely loved that Robert Palmer brought back The Gap Band, when he did a cover of their "Early In The Morning."

Lake Merced is why our unofficial mascot is the Loch Monster. We would like a Nessie, rising from the foggy Lake Merced. And it'd be cool, with "Early In The Morning" playing in the background.
