20 years ago, I woke up as a married man. My wife and I just wanted to relax. Perhaps apropos, we overheard Maroon 5's "Sunday Morning."

But it was my mom's birthday, and we had to return the Hummer, so my wife and I drove across the Bay, and back to my parents' place in San Francisco. We had no control over what others were playing, but that's how Maroon 5's "Sunday Morning" became ingrained as our first day as a married couple.

As for the song itself, "Sunday Morning" was not released as a single, until the end of 2004.
