When I entered college in September 1989, my dormmie, Andrea, introduced me to The Ocean Blue. More specifically, at Cowell's Beach, she played "Drifting, Falling" via boombox.

In 1991, TOB's Cerulean wa a major influence on us college kids.

In Fall 1993, I had graduated, and was home in San Francisco. TOB came out with a new (and excellent) album, Beneath The Rhythm And Sound. The leadoff single was "Sublime." The video was filmed in some cold location. However, that Fall 1993 brought hot and dry weather to the Bay. No swimwear? No extra change of clothes? No problem; we just went into the water, at Ocean Beach. It was so sublime...
