30 years ago, I was back home in San Francisco. I had no girlfriend, and only worked part-time. My friend Kim was preparing to go back to UC Santa Cruz for her senior year. We had Vai's Sex & Religion. I bought my very first DAC, the Theta Cobalt 307. I had 75-ohm video cables lying around, but no specifically-designed coaxial digital cables.

But I didn't have any money left for digital cables, so I went over to Kim's house, near SF General, to say good-bye. Vai's "Here & Now" got her extra excited to see me. It wasn't a commonly-heard song then, so you can argue if it is even less commonly heard now :-)
