I originally was introduced to The Bible's "Crystal Palace," in late summer 1988. My family was at the Shirokiya in Ala Moana shopping center. At the time, Shirokiya was the place, to look for consumer electronics. One of the Sony Trinitron TV sets was tuned to MTV, which aired "Crystal Palace."

I don't recall hearing/seeing "Crystal Palace," until winter break, when we went up to Tahoe. There, with snow and ice on the ground, "Crystal Palace" seemed more appropriate. Back home in San Francisco, the only radio station with the potential to play "Crystal Palace" was KITS.
