I first met my old friend Sue in 1987, when we were in high school. From my perspective, she always had a scar on her left shoulder.

That scar being permanent, she still has it. She claims that, when she was in junior high, she loved Christopher Cross' "All Right." She said that her mom would exercise to it. She said that "All Right" made her "high as a kite," so when she played basketball and football with her brothers, she was "all amped up." She says that one of San Francisco's asphalt grounds "chewed up" her shoulder, and thus, she's had that scar ever since.

To this day, Sue loves "All Right," and "even though I'm a mom with teenagers, it makes me feel like I can still kick their butts in sports!"
