Growing up in the 70s and 80s, we from Honolulu would go to Tamashiro Market, out in Liliha. That's where our families went for fresh seafood. I'm pretty sure Tamashiro Market was the first poke I had.

And that would have been when I was 1, in 1973. At the same time, this may have been the first time we heard ABBA. For me, the first ABBA song I recognized was "Ring Ring." Back then, the guys, Benny and Bjorn, could still be heard. And until recently, I did not know that there was a video for it.
