30 years ago, we were celebrating a friend's 21st birthday. And that was where we first heard Jeremy Jordan's "Wannagirl."

The original, "Wanna Girl," was by Trey Lorenz, who was better-known for duetting with Mariah Carey on "I'll Be There," which itself was a cover of the Jackson 5. As we went to the beach, we thought that neither the Lorenz nor Jordan version of "Wannagirl" was any good, LOL! But the song does make you feel like you're just becoming an adult.
