Winger, "Down Incognito"

On May 15, 1993, my ex-girlfriend KJ, done with her sophomore year at UC Berkeley, came down to Santa Cruz, to spend the weekend with me. While we were walking through the Pacific Avenue Mall, a book/record store had promo posters of an upcoming Winger album, Pull.

When KJ returned home, she prepared for my graduation from UCSC.

In order to start bringing stuff home, I did go back to S.F., 30 years ago. Very thoughtful, KJ bought that new Winger CD. The single was "Down Incognito," which, because of the grunge and rap revolution, did not need to go incognito. It was never played, and no one knew about it. Although KJ liked "Who's The One" better, "Down Incognito" was a solid offering.
