30 years ago, one of my friends from CSA. Suzanne, was over at my apartment. We had the new David Crosby CD, Thousand Roads. When we came upon the more acoustic and folk "Old Soldier," we left, in order to hit a beach, away from the Santa Cruz crowds.
When we came back to my apartment, we read that "Old Soldier" was written by Marc "Walking In Memphis" Cohn. And Graham Nash sang backup vocals, and played that harmonica.
Suzanne then said, "Ya know, Crosby, Stills & Nash were together when our parents met and had us. Listening to this probably completes the circle."
And then it hit us. In a couple of weeks, Suzanne and I were to graduate, never to see each other again. I did not get the photo above developed, until after graduation. Since I did not have her (home) address or phone number, I was never able to give a copy to Suzanne.
