She passed away on February 19th at the age of 31 from cancer - who was she? A contestant on America's Got Talent. (real name Jane Kristen Marczewski)

Do I watch that show? No. Why post this (I checked and it has not been posted before)? Because I came across her today and felt a great sadness that I would not be able to hear that talent again, I immediately thought of Eva Cassidy.

Usually, this talent show has someone sing some other artist's song - Nightbirde sang her own. It moved me - an authentic person singing an authentic song - and it sucks that someone like this is taken so young while such scumbags are out there in their 70s.
