Manna from heaven - Part IV: Almost the Mother Lode

Out on my morning D.C. walk, I thought I'd found the Mother Lode. It's the end of the month, and someone was moving and left three packed wallets of CDs and DVDs - signed "Free Please Take" - AND ... on the curb.

I tossed everything in my backpack and checked them out when I got home from Trader Joe's. Unfortunately, the DVDs weren't my taste - Friends, West Wing, etc. Lots of stuff I'd already seen.

CD-wise only the 20th anniversary edition of U2's The Joshua Tree struck me as a keeper. Not a Ben Folds fan and there was plenty. Plenty of Goo Goo Dolls and Guns N Roses, too. Musicals like Wicked, etc. They all went back out to the Free Little Library down the street.

The big "AND", though, was a pair of Beats Dr. Dre headphones in mint condition.

All in all, not a bad walk.
