I’m watching a Netflix streaming video of Roland Kirk performing FULL TILT in 1969- talk about a moment in time! Buddy Guy was absolutely on fire as was the MJQ doing ‘Visitor From Venus’ This video was filmed in London in 1969 intended for some kind of theatrical distribution apparently, but I was completely unaware of it until today. The performers and bands appearing include Led Zeppelin, Buddy Guy, Jack Bruce, Buddy Miles, Eric Clapton, Colloseum, Roland Kirk and Stephen Stills. Jimi Hendrix was supposed to perform but missed the plane! The sound quality is unfortunately the sh*ts, made that much worse by Netflix streaming, but it sure is a trip.
