For "sensual" think Ben Webster or Coleman Hawkins playing a slow ballad or blues.
In up-tempo mainstream jazz, the sax more often sounds "jaunty" or "sassy."
In a lot of bebop, maybe "jittery" or "nervous."
And then there is the squealy-squawky raucous music of the avant garde. In this sort of context, the instrument can communicate extreme and violent emotions. But nobody's gonna make out to Coltrane's Ascension, or the World Saxophone Quartet.
