It was fun.. but more so for my mates....

It was not packed at the Fillmore, and this music is pretty big, and it has that "unite and fight for peace" appeal. Funny that I thought that the band was from some Middle Eastern/Balkan country..

They're from Brooklyn.

It was a bit of a bummer, (and they tried hard to overcome it), that the Bulgarian Chicks were not there!! Tough, as they used recordings of them in the songs, and tried to play over top of the girls singing. This worked to varying results.

A lot of the "cool" factor of that band is the girls singing...
