Home Classical Court

From Perotin to Prokofiev (and beyond), performed by Caruso to Khatia, it's all here.

Best bells I've ever heard were Ansermet's. The conductor insisted they build them to Berlioz' specs.

IIRC from the liner notes.

As an added bonus, (curmudgeonly old listener alert!) the Suisse Romande bass section plays the Dies Irae theme with menace! As if the Latin translated into something scary like "Day of Wrath." (Modern musicians play it as if they're sneaking peeks at cute kitten vids the whole time, cell phones hidden behind the sheet music.)
