Not really but it depends.....

If you have enough buttons on the learning remote you can program them for different devices from your different brand name remotes..... BUT you might want to find one with a sufficient number of buttons. One button can accommodate one remote command for one device.

I just use separate learning remotes. Since most of mine are the oval "CHUNGHOP" style that all look alike I just write on the back of each one with a felt pen so I know which device it controls.
