"We Want the Funk" documentary

I watched "We Want the Funk" last night and my almost 70-year-old feet were tapping the whole time! There are interviews with people who were a part of, or were influenced by, the funk movement, along with concert clips.

This morning I listened to Soul Makossa and the music of Fela Kuti, and I'll be exploring more of the musicians from the show. A great way to find something that is generally not on my radar for listening.
