can't help you specifically, but will say it is not unusual to have slight dimension changes in molded plastic as things wear. I would contact dioxit and advise them of your problem, they might not have realized some straws were bad.

at the prices they charge, they should be able to send you a straw that fits .

I like the stuff, except for the cost , and fortunately only ever need the amount in the small tube.
