LOL! I haven't gone to the article, but much of your post is so true. (A few of them are a bit of a journalistic stretch.) I especially like the first one:
"You're an idiot because you...disagree with me!"
Some people just have an argumentative personality. And it's not limited to audiophiles - it also exists in the professional audio and acoustics worlds (as well as other fields and topics). When a music major, I also minored in psychology because I'm fascinated by people's behavior and what makes us tick the way we do.
