Unfortunately the Samsung memory in the Pono Player can degrade with time. This often causes problems scanning library.
Many Pono users follow these recommendations:
1. Load internal memory once and leave it alone. Some refrain from adding any music to the internal memory. 64gb isn't worth worrying about.
2. Use big memo cards instead of internal memory. Many reports of 512gb working fine.
3. Leave 10% of any memory empty for system use.
4. Never load a memory card via Pono Player. Always use a card reader.

Lovers. They can provide lots of help and tips.
