Day One Winners at RMAF

First up, a $1,000 system from Vanatoo. Their new speakers will cost just $599 and have everything including their own amps, DACs, a DSP crossover and digital and analog inputs along with Bluetooth. The bass for a small speaker is simply amazing which we assumedwas due to the sub, except is wasn't connect on our first listen. By a long shot, these speakers are a bargain that rival anything in class.

Serious Audio sported Altec 604 speakers driven with the 2A3 monoblock amps producing great sound with outstanding presence.

Showing off their gear with a prototype of a line array speaker from the famed Arnie Nudell of Infinity, PS Audio's room was engaging and another of my favorites.

Classic Audio, as always, shows a great system with the JBL inspired reproductions driven by Atma-Sphere amps. I love the reel-reel.

That's all for now. I haven't been to RMAF for quite a while and it's grown into quite a show with quite a crowd.
