It was hooked to the Original Large Advents. I could never get a good bass line out of it. I never could really like it. I sold it and pulled my Harmon Kardon 730 out of the closet and had it repaired. The Lux had replaced it after a channel went out. But the Luxman never ever sounded anywhere near as good as the HK.
Neither did the Technics or the Kenwood. Todd Kreiger has given you good advice. My suggestion, Find an HK430, 730 or 930.
