I wasnt sure where to post this so...
Basically, i am trying to set up a karaoke system. I have a behringer 802 mixer, berhinger keyboard amp/speaker, some regular microphones, and my computer. The problem is with the microphones... When you sing on them, you cant really hear yourself. I have a karaoke machine (magic sing), and you can adjust the echo to make it sound better. At the moment, ive been connecting the microphones to the karaoke machine just to get the singing echo effect. However, im no longer going to have the karaoke machine, so i need something to give me the same effect.
Basically i have the microphone connected to the mixer mic in, the computer to one of the line-ins, and the line out to the speakers. Im using youtube for the karaoke songs. Im thinking that i would need to use an effects processor to get the echo effect. However, ive looked online, and everything i see is so expensive. I only want one kind of effect, which is the echo/reverb effect that you hear in karaoke machines. Is there something cheap that will get me this effect?
