Well, I guess that I could experiment. I've never used any other steel/metal racks, so perhaps they all ring to a certain degree?

I know that my Salamander rack isn't ideal for turntable use: too many vibes from the floor reaching the turntable. One of my TT's is a Thorens 124, which I know tends to benefit by placing it on/in something with mass. The Boltz rack is certainly massive! I'd like to get the benefits of mass but with some damping.

The only other rack I've considered getting into is something like the Mapleshade. May have to investigate further.
