I buy and maintain a certain amount of inventory that remains as demo inventory. Some manufacturers give dealers who do this an additional discount for doing so. As long as the demo inventory remains to be current and is not damaged or blemished in any way, it continues to be demo inventory. If it doesn't I find a home for it, but not on Audiogon.
