Once you have your speakers, pick out an amp that will drive them for your room, then get the best source that the speakers and amp will need. Cables dead last!!! Matching components isn't rocket science. Way too many audiophiles get too caught up in a merrygoround of "there is only one amp tha will work for my speaker, or this IS the best cd player for your system. Too many variatios in tonal quality in speakers to even worry about what is "correct", and it really boils down to what you like. How many of use have the exact same system?
