Until now my choices have beenDVD with medium quality moving picture and bad sound
SACD with no pictures and excellent sound
DVD Audio with still picture and good sound
Hardly a satisfying situation.
I want to get the full concert experience at home, and in both rock, pop and opera the picture is an important part of the show.
Take Tine Turner "Live in Amsterdam". Seeing her and the 3 chorus girls is half the show for a "typical male" like me :-)
I do not think audio alone is better.
And when we have a format with better sound than CD, combined with HD video, it is important for audiophiles.
