I think it is a statement that pumping price for cosmetic appeal is a statement of what condition the world is in now. Nike use slick commercials and high paid athletes to pump up the price of their shoes. Does this improve shoe performance? NO, but it makes money and that is what society worships today. It's all about image, not reality. Paying for non performing glitz is cool huh? Wish I could afford it. As Billy Crystal used to say on Saturday Night Live. It is better to look good than feel good. (Or something like that) Believe all commercial prose. Lying or putting spin is morally acceptble. NOT FOR ME.
