Leo: I have heard several places that the Avatar sounds better than the Jay's. But, Denafrips apparently no longer sells the Avatar. I read something about a lack of Phillips CDM4/19 drive mechanisms, which have gone out of production. It looks like a solid transport at a good price ($1500), but I would want a spare CDM4 mechanism if I bought one. They still appear to be available from some Chinese sources, but no Idea on warranty. Here is a 6 Moons review of the Avatar:
