Home Digital Drive

Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

For ease of setup and use...

...I'd suggest you check out one of the WiiM streamers. They have four models starting with the Mini (under $100) up to the Ultra for $330 which has a display screen and remote. There are two in between models. As noted, setup is incredibly easy and you can use their built-in DAC or output them into an external DAC. They have an app for your phone (android or IOS) for selecting music from your local collection or any of several streaming services (Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, various radio streaming services, etc.) And, if you use Amazon Music, you have the option of using the voice remote (via Alexa) to select and play tracks. That options works well for my wife.

I had a number of Raspberry Pi units prior to this but my wife found them difficult to use. WiiM has done a great job of maintaining the audio quality I like but also making our system more usable for my wife.
