This is about the average time I've heard for typical break in. Usually when people break-in gear they leave it on 24/7. This means break-in would have occurred in just over one week, well within the return limit. Even with an 8 hour break at night it would take less than 2 weeks, again well under the return limit.

I've never heard of the 60-day time frame that was pulled from some dark place. It actually doesn't even make sense seeing that from person to person 60-day break in could mean anywhere from 0-1440 hours. Seeing that gear does not break-in being OFF, it would be pretty 'crazy' to go with that assumption.
