It always seems to be with the digital stuff. The voltage coming in to the house is unstable. The stabilizer I purchased a year ago is not doing the job and I have to get a better one. Measures between 111 and 127 on my Monster readout, everywhere in between, and most often change in milliseconds. My Loki sometimes responds very strange, right channel out then back on.
If I don't use the stabilizer the voltage at night goes higher than 127.
Calls to the power company are a waste of time, they could give a crap. They replaced the street transformer a few months ago when it suddenly failed, and send the regular bills - that's it. So far my issues have been few.
Edit: I bought my house from the town Police Chief and the line transformer was on a pole right outside the house ONLY for our house. When Hurricane Sandy created a lot of damage around here they put all kinds of new wires on the poles. They also moved the transformer to another pole and it now feeds 3 houses. The guy next door runs a shop in the garage and sucks a lot of sporadic power with the motors for his saws. That and AC really makes things bad.
