I had an extra door in my rack with about a 20" by 12.5" and almost 20" deep. I created a DVD storage unit in there. It only holds just about 300 CDs.
I used the ball bearing drawer slides which can come out all the way. I mounted them to a huge drawer that just fits in the opening.The CDs are stored three tiers high and two wide. Half face the left and half face the right. I get the right side. My wife the left. :)
We're about to overflow the thing but you get the idea. It's rather convenient actually and they're hidden away. Not sure what we'll do when we go on our next CD shopping spree which should be soon.Bill
