Of course, the CDM12.4 is also not available new anymore. There is a seller on Ebay that has brand new transports for less than $40. I've been meaning to pick up a couple spares. Do a search on Ebay for CDM12.4 and you'll see them....By the way, I've had one in my system for quite a while. Very well built. It's never given me a second of trouble. Reads every disk I've ever put in it. Sonically it is very nice, with good pace and a huge soundstage. Nice unit if you can find one!
