Yep..I for one can't stand a output stage on any CDP, DVD, or DAC I have ever heard. If I can't bypass the entire ouput stage I won't go there. I would love to run a 5k + DAC against my best modded under 400.00 digital pieces.I am very sure it would be a bad day for someone............ But then when I play my ancient JVC QL-7 TT all is back to where it should be...........ALOT of mods are marketing & NOT needed for the best of what that paticular player can do. In fact, I had a guy from the big city bring me a Panasonic once not long ago, I laughed for a very short time...........
